I remember very clearly before he died when I was in the 4th grade my grandaddy. It may seem insignificant but I cant forget the false teeth. Yeah he had false teeth and one day he asked me to hand them to him. I got a little afraid and called my grandma to do it. For some reason that really stands out in my mind but it's only one of the few ways i remember my grandfather so it's a memory I'd like to keep. I'll admit i do miss him but i was only 8 whaen he died. Every memory i have i'd like to keep. It's actually coming around the time he died about 10 years ago.

i am still grasping this because it isn't real to me yet
i haven't quite wrapped my finger around this
but sure enough it's reality
still however i'm dreaming
because if this is it then it can't be true
so her i am
it's just me waiting on me
to come to my senses
and figure out why
so it will no longer be a question
but a lesson learned
and i won't have to wonder
but will know why
